THE BIBLE
We believe in the Holy Bible. That the Old and the New Testaments are given by God’s inspiration and written by God through His chosen ones. We believe the Bible is the final authority. Therefore we speak with the authority of God while bringing God’s presence to His people and people to God.
GOD
We believe in one God, The Creator of the universe, The Perfect God, The All Knowing God, The Alpha and The Omega. We believe in the Trinity; God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit and these three are one. (1 John 5:7)
JESUS CHRIST
We believe that Jesus Christ is the true God who came into the world in human form, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He was crucified on the cross for our transgression according to the Holy Bible. We believe He resurrected from the dead, ascended into heaven, and seated at the right hand of God the Father. We also believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and the only mediator between God and man. We believe that He is coming back again.
HOLY SPIRIT
“But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my Name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you”.(John 14:26)
The Holy Spirit guides, instructs, and empowers the believer for godly living and service.
SALVATION
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me”. (John 14:6) We believe salvation can only be obtained through Jesus Christ and no one else.
BAPTISMS
We believe in water baptism, in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit as distinct from the New Birth. We believe in speaking with tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance (Acts 2:4), in the gifts of the Spirit, and in the evidence of the fruit of the Spirit. We believe that all of these are available to believers.
THE CHURCH
“Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.” (Hebrews 10:25).
I AM Ministries/Glory International Christian Center (GICC) is an international and transcultural place of worship of God through Jesus Christ our Lord for people of all races, ethnicities, and nations.
We exist to teach the practicality of everyday living using the word of God. We are called to bring God’s presence to His people and bring people to His presence. We are called to win souls (converts) to the Lord and lead such converts to the place where they operate proficiently in the biblical principles of faith, love, healing, prosperity, redemption, and righteousness, and where they can share those principles with others.
SPIRITUAL GROWTH
“Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God.” (Hebrews 6:1)
We believe that growth and life changes are evidence of one’s connection to God and we strive to bring the teachings that help emphasize that connection. This requires us to be intentional and willing towards the teachings of the Word.
